How I became an UX/UI Designer

From a young age, I was passionate about music, playing in a band, drawing, and video games. I've been using computers since I was very little, experimenting with programs like Photoshop to draw and Cubase to produce music. I always wanted to study something that would allow me to channel my creativity and interest in design, but due to life circumstances, I had to start working early.

One of my jobs was as a birdwatcher, as my hometown of Algeciras is located along the largest bird migration route in Europe. This job allowed me to save enough money to fund my design studies, eventually leading me to enroll in a UX/UI design bootcamp at Ironhack, based in Paris. It was here that I reached a high level of expertise in the field, which truly unlocked my career as a designer.

When I discovered Figma, everything clicked into place, as all my hobbies had always nurtured my creative and imaginative side. Learning UX/UI tools felt like navigating familiar waters, always with a creative breeze at my back.

Lately, my main hobby has been producing lo-fi hip hop beats check it out! 😁
